Karl T. Kimball attended Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, 1969-1973, graduating with B.A. in history. He then began working on his masters at the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado in medieval German history. Karl has been a professional insurance agent since 1974, concentrating on property and casualty coverages for small businesses and individuals since 1977. A native of Little Rock, Karl moved his practice back to his home town in 1980, and has been a part of the Chenal Insurance family since 1989. Trained as a professional historian Karl is still an acute observer of the world scene, and has been active in the political and civic life of his home town. His wife Beatriz, a native of Havana, Cuba who grew up in Buffalo, New York, is the love of his life and an accomplished and experienced elementary school teacher in Little Rock. His son Alex, another native of Little Rock, still lives and works in his home town. Karl is an active member of the Masonic fraternity for over 30 years and was recently awarded the 33rd degree by the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. Retired from over twenty years of working as a race official for the Sports Car Club of America, his favorite hobbies include keeping up with IndyCar and Formula 1 racing, NFL football, science fiction and historical books and movies, and solving insurance problems for the good people of Arkansas.
